From sunny sun to rainy rain we have come
Day after day
Wet pavements, twigs and mulchy ness on the road round Battersea Park
Rain rain and more rain…
The joy of contrast, grey skies instead of blue
But we are where we are
Here, now
And then – freezing cold…
On a getting light Friday morning, Anadi and I set off to Battersea Park…
I had put in a last minute ‘request’ to Anadi, to do my interval session during our ‘Friday run together’…
My reason for this?
desiring Saturday off running with a bit more time in bed!
January is often a busy month for me, and the first week of the year had been very fabulous, and very full!
Anadi was up for the plan and so off we ran…
On arriving at the track it was alive with fun, music and a high vibe as a group of young people were in the middle of a track work out!
Everyone seemed to be having a good time – and I enjoyed running my session with their energy all around…
I was doing a mini session!
The subconscious mind doesn’t know the difference between real and imagined events, and so I told my subconscious mind it was doing 20 x 200…
But I allowed my body to just do six !! ( ha ha!)
The key to running is consistency, and so whenever my lifestyle gets more full and busy, I simply reduce the running but maintain the practise
And all is well.
This meant that the group and I all finished at the same time, and I was able to have a chat and find out about them!
They come from Crossfit Shapesmiths in Clapham, and they have started a Friday running group called ‘Move for Muddy’ for mental health awareness…
Everyone is welcome
And so I am going back next week!
I still feel nomadic in my energy
The planet my home
Everyone a friend
